The Two Shores story dates back to 2000, when David returned to the U.S. from an expatriate assignment in Hong Kong. An unscratched entrepreneurial itch and aspirations to spend more time in Asia prompted David to venture out on his own, and Two Shores was born. Seventeen years, two daughters, and six international moves later, David and his family now live in Ithaca, New York, an hour from where David and his wife grew up. For David, Two Shores represents his family of mixed descent, expatriate journeys, and a love for the water. For clients, our name represents growth; for without growth, marketing creates no value.
Over the years, David has held senior marketing positions with Coca-Cola, IBM, The Nielsen Company, and Google, but remains an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for students, startups, and new programs of all shapes and sizes.
Since 2002, Two Shores has continually evolved, adding services and expertise as the digital marketing landscape changes. Today, we work hard to stay on top of the latest tools and techniques, while always remembering that the most important aspect of marketing is authentic voice. We help clients learn to engage their target audiences in a manner such that marketing doesn't feel much like marketing at all.
